Commemorate, Celebrate

Today’s the 6th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. It’s also the eve of the Jewish new year. I don’t know how you mark either of these events, dear reader. I’m going to listen to one of my favorite sad records today, and maybe I’ll get myself to shul tomorrow night.

Update: on the way home from work tonight, I stopped at the library to drop off a CD. Then I stopped to smell the flowers.
