Monday: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0472062\/\" target=\"_blank\">Charlie Wilson&#8217;s War<\/a> (the <a href=\"http:\/\/titsinacrane.ytmnd.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Steve Martin<\/a> strength of the opening scenes didn&#8217;t carry through, sadly, but it was pretty entertaining), Tuesday: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0085794\/\" target=\"_blank\">The King of Comedy<\/a> (my favorite Scorsese\/Deniro movie), Wednesday: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0100449\/\" target=\"_blank\">Quick Change<\/a> (I was transfixed by the c. 1990 version of NYC, and also by Geena Davis), Thursday: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0219822\/\" target=\"_blank\">Human Nature<\/a> (with the <a href=\"http:\/\/dir.salon.com\/story\/ent\/movies\/feature\/2003\/12\/27\/best_movies_sz\/index1.html  \" target=\"_blank\">weirdly talented Miranda Otto<\/a>) and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0075686\/\" target=\"_blank\">Annie Hall<\/a> (it&#8217;s been almost a year! This time, I really focused on the amazing job done by Diane Keaton). Oh, and there was some football game.<\/p>\n<p><em>What I&#8217;m drinking:<\/em> Miller&#8217;s (Westbourne Strength) and Q Tonic, and a bunch of Yuengling &amp; Killian&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<p><em>What Rufus is up to:<\/em> Praying for springtime. I can tell.<\/p>\n<p><em>Where I&#8217;m going:<\/em> No plans. Got any ideas?<\/p>\n<p><em>What I&#8217;m happy about:<\/em> Getting down to Philadelphia this weekend to see my pal Drake for a celebration of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.epgn.com\/pages\/full_story?article-Ten-years-later-Robert-Drake%20=&amp;page_label=home&amp;id=1839421-Ten-years-later-Robert-Drake&amp;widget=push&amp;instance=top_story&amp;open=&amp; \" target=\"_blank\">10th anniversary of his horrendous beating<\/a> (that is, a celebration that he&#8217;s survived the experience).<\/p>\n<p><em>What I&#8217;m sad about:<\/em> Everything he lost.<\/p>\n<p><em>What I&#8217;m pondering:<\/em> Whether to help Drake out by becoming a trustee for him.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What I&#8217;m reading: The Montaigne.
