What I’m reading:<\/em> Montaigne & Cultural Amnesia<\/a>\"\", and Edmund and Rosemary Go To Hell<\/a>\"\", the new ish of Monocle<\/a>, and that NYTimes<\/em> article about the House<\/em>-like diagnosis<\/a> of that guy I asked you all to help out with platelet donations a few months ago.<\/p>\n

What I’m listening to:<\/em> A whole passel of Bill Simmons’ B.S. Report podcasts<\/a>, and just shuffling through my iTunes library for a new Mad Mix.<\/p>\n

What I’m watching:<\/em> Wall\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2E<\/a>, Eastbound & Down<\/a> and The Royal Tenenbaums<\/a>.<\/p>\n

What I’m drinking:<\/em> Plymouth & Stirrings.<\/p>\n

What Rufus is up to:<\/em> Having no fun at the dog park<\/a>. Again.<\/p>\n

Where I’m going:<\/em> To a pre-birthday dinner with my wife this Saturday!<\/p>\n

What I’m happy about:<\/em> My dad was wrong with last year’s (70th) birthday dinner prediction\u00c2\u00a0 of “This is my last year.”<\/p>\n

What I’m sad about:<\/em> He made the same prediction at this year’s birthday dinner.<\/p>\n
