He may have been bummed that we didn&#8217;t take him to the <a href=\"http:\/\/hiking-greyhounds.smugmug.com\/gallery\/7683406_FtzyL#496296909_aoVxH\" target=\"_blank\">St. Patrick&#8217;s Day parade in Morristown with all the other greyhounds<\/a>, but I think the noises there would&#8217;ve freaked him out worse than the Ramsey train.<\/p>\n<p><em>Where I&#8217;m going:<\/em> NYC for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.interphex.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Interphex<\/a>! (with a side trip to the Waldorf to meet some people at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dcat.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">DCAT<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p><em>What I&#8217;m happy about:<\/em> What part of &#8220;I finished reading Montaigne&#8217;s <em>Essays<\/em> last week&#8221; didn&#8217;t you understand?<\/p>\n<p><em>What I&#8217;m sad about:<\/em> Being away from Rufus for a few days, but he&#8217;s staying with our greyhound-owning friends who took care of him for us last December, so he&#8217;ll be fine.<\/p>\n<p><em>What I&#8217;m pondering:<\/em> What sorta world we&#8217;d be living in if <em>In Bruges<\/em> made $582 million in worldwide ticket sales and <em>Iron Man<\/em> made only $33 million, instead of the other way around.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What I&#8217;m reading: I finished reading Montaigne&#8217;s Essays last week, and also finished Liar&#8217;s Poker.
