Since they&#8217;re not around individual posts, they don&#8217;t make as much sense for Unrequired Reading:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nyc-grid.com\" target=\"_blank\">NYC Grid<\/a> &#8211; a photoblog that chronicles a different block of Manhattan each day (discovered via <a href=\"http:\/\/subtraction.com\" target=\"_blank\">Subtraction<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.feinsteinonthebrink.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Feinstein on the Brink<\/a> &#8211; John Feinstein is blogging? Awesome!<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/booksinq.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Books, Inq.<\/a> &#8211; literary ramblings, mainly links<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.newyorker.com\/online\/blogs\/jamessurowiecki\/\" target=\"_blank\">James Surowiecki<\/a> &#8211; I knew he was blogging for the New Yorker, but when I checked the blog out, there was no RSS feed set up, so I never followed it. (There&#8217;s a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newyorker.com\/online\/blogs\/jamessurowiecki\/rss.xml\" target=\"_blank\">feed now<\/a>.) It looks like he doesn&#8217;t update too often, but hey.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/hereliesrichardsala.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Richard Sala<\/a> &#8211; the blog of a great cartoonist I once semi-trashed in a review at The Comics Journal. I later discovered that he took the review to heart.
