What I’m reading:<\/em> Moby Dick<\/a>\"\", The Jew of New York<\/a>\"\", The Nobody<\/a>\"\", and Everybody is Stupid Except for Me<\/a>\"\".<\/p>\n

What I’m listening to:<\/em> Arular<\/a>\"\", by M.I.A., Yes<\/a>\"\" by Pet Shop Boys, and Welcome to the Pleasuredome<\/a>\"\" by Frankie Goes to Hollywood (thanks to their roof-raising performance in that Trevor Horn tribute concert<\/a>\"\" we watched last week).<\/p>\n

What I’m watching:<\/em> Old episodes of The State<\/a>\"\", to commemorate the cancellation of Reno 911<\/a>!, Anchorman<\/a> and Pulp Fiction<\/a>. Our current Netflix discs are The Man Who Would Be King<\/a> and Bubba Ho-Tep<\/a>.<\/p>\n

What I’m drinking:<\/em> Juniper Green & Q Tonic, and Red Stripe lager.<\/p>\n

What Rufus is up to:<\/em> Staying out of the heat. We skipped another Sunday greyhound hike because we had a bunch of Amy’s friends coming over for lunch that day, and needed to get the house clean(ish).<\/p>\n

Where I’m going:<\/em> Connecticut next weekend, to visit my cousins and let Rufus meet the Golden Retriever side of the family.<\/p>\n

What I’m happy about:<\/em> That someone made a movie for the 9-year-old me who was serenaded daily on the school bus with taunts of “Heil Hitler!”<\/a><\/p>\n

What I’m sad about:<\/em> This whole aging process<\/a>.<\/p>\n

What I’m worried about:<\/em> The dietary habits of yuppies<\/a>, and whether it stunts their ability to have intelligent conversation. (Good job, Agitator!)<\/p>\n
