And <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0075686\/\" target=\"_blank\">Annie Hall<\/a> to celebrate Rosh Hashanah.<\/p>\n<p><em>What I&#8217;m drinking:<\/em> Stella Artois, Plymouth &amp; Q Tonic, and some nice red wine my wife picked up.<\/p>\n<p><em>What Rufus is up to:<\/em> Getting a small cut on his paw, which led to him being bandaged up for a few days. But it healed in time for him to go on a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/chimeraobscura\/sets\/72157622292667573\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sunday greyhound hike<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p><em>Where I&#8217;m going:<\/em> New Brunswick, for <a href=\"http:\/\/contractpharma.com\/2009conference\" target=\"_blank\">Contracting &amp; Outsourcing 2009<\/a>! Then bed!<\/p>\n<p><em>What I&#8217;m happy about:<\/em> That we&#8217;re in the final week for our big conference, and the final 10 days for our 10th anniversary issue. The combo of these two has been pretty exhausting for me.<\/p>\n<p><em>What I&#8217;m sad about:<\/em> It hasn&#8217;t gotten easier.<\/p>\n<p><em>What I&#8217;m worried about:<\/em> The FDA speaker for day 1 of the conference not showing up. I&#8217;d feel better about it if he&#8217;d returned a single call or e-mail from me in the past 4 months.<\/p>\n<p><em>What I&#8217;m pondering:<\/em> Whether I should bring tap shoes or a karaoke machine to help fill the 30-minute hole that would result from &#8220;what I&#8217;m worried about&#8221; coming true.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What I&#8217;m reading: Moby Dick, and a conversation between Elmore Leonard and Martin Amis (PDF).
