What I’m reading:<\/em> Finished up When The Shooting Stops … The Cutting Begins: A Film Editor’s Story<\/a>\"\". The penultimate chapter \u00e2\u20ac\u201d detailing how Annie Hall<\/em> was salvaged \u00e2\u20ac\u201d was phenomenal. Not sure what my main book will be after that.<\/p>\n

What I’m listening to:<\/em> The Cars’ Greatest Hits<\/a>\"\", Coconut Records’ Nighttiming<\/a>\"\", and Rush’s greatest hits collection, Spirit of Radio<\/a>\"\" and Signals<\/a>\"\". Man, Rush was awesome. Just call me The Analog Kid<\/a>.<\/p>\n

What I’m watching:<\/em> A little NFL, a little NBA, the last couple of Rachel Zoe Projects (cleaning out the DVR), some Mythbusters (go, exploding water heater<\/a> redux!) and Anchorman (decompressing on Sunday night).<\/p>\n

What I’m drinking:<\/em> Hendrick’s & Q-Tonic.<\/p>\n

What Rufus is up to:<\/em> Gaining a “little” brother, Otis B. Driftwood!<\/p>\n

Where I’m going:<\/em> Down to Philadelphia next Friday for my other<\/em> 20th high school reunion.<\/p>\n

What I’m happy about:<\/em> That In The Loop<\/a>\"\" comes out on DVD the day after my birthday in January! Pre-order: accomplished!<\/p>\n

What I’m sad about:<\/em> Letting work, travel, new dog, etc. derail my National Novel Writing Month<\/a> project. Grr.<\/p>\n

What I’m worried about:<\/em> All the acclimating that Otis has to do; he seems much more prey-driven than Rufus was when we got him in March 2008. He also wants to jump over the baby-gate that cordons off our kitchen, which is a real problem.<\/p>\n
