Formerly a painter, a sculptor and an art teacher, Nina found her calling in sequential arts, a form that seemed to naturally evolve out of the narrative component in her sculpture installation work. Pen and ink became her medium of choice.<\/p>\n<p>Nina\u2019s comics have appeared in a number of local and international publications: <em>Komikaze<\/em> (Croatia), <em>Black<\/em> (Italy), <em>GIUDA<\/em> (Italy), <em>Stripburger<\/em> (Slovenia), <em>Zone 5300<\/em> (Netherlands), <em>Stripolis<\/em> (Serbia), <em>ArtReview<\/em> (UK), <em>Asiatroma\/Le Dernier Cri<\/em> (France), <em>Broken Pencil, Exile, Taddle Creek<\/em> (Canada) and <em>Mineshaft<\/em> (USA). Her debut collection of comics, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/1894994647\/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=1894994647&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=voyantpublishing&amp;linkId=EXBJYLLULJL7YEFV\">Heartless<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;\" src=\"http:\/\/ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com\/e\/ir?t=voyantpublishing&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=1894994647\" alt=\"\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" \/>, came out in September 2012 with the Nova Scotia-based publisher Conundrum Press, and was translated and published in France in 2013 by Ici-m\u00eame Editions.
