I may be questioning/reconsidering what I’m writing and why, but that doesn’t mean I can’t share some fun/awesome links with you, dear readers! Enjoy!

Richard Jenkins gets a Random Roles interview! (my favorite part, of course, is the Miller’s Crossing story.)

MTA’s special NYC Subway map just for Jews!

Robert Caro gets ever closer to finishing his LBJ biography! (and I get ever closer to starting it!)

K2, Skier 0.

Twitter, please!

Comics will break your heart.

Dance like there’s ants in your house!

R.I.P. Tony Judt. In your honor, I will continue to do my best to speak in complete paragraphs.

And speaking of intellectuals and mortality, here are two interviews of Christopher Hitchens discussing his cancer treatment with Jeffrey Goldberg and Anderson Cooper. I like the Cooper one more, even though I think it’s a little slack to wear sneakers to an interview.

  1. Hitchens warrants a mention in your Badass column too.
Do you remember the part in God Is Not Great where he defaced a pro-Nazi sign in a tough neighbourhood in Lebanon and got a kicking?
