It’s been another wipeout of a week for me, dear readers. But I’ve got one of my 20-year high school reunions coming up this weekend, so I’m trying to enhealthify. Not that you care. I’m kinda interested in this conversation between Andrew Sullivan and Ta-Nehisi Coates about conservatism, change, and oppression, and Coates’ follow-up post about it. This is one of those times I’m reminded that my first-gen status as a Jew in America — with parents who were children in Europe during the war — has left me with some peculiar perspectives on those aforementioned topics.
