You’d be surprised. In this instance, two were racing across the street from different sides, so I didn’t even think of swerving. Just looked in the rear-view mirror and saw a little carcass go tumbling away.
But I did make it down to Harleyville, PA and back without killing anything!

I can sympathise…We killed a bush turkey a few weeks ago. It seemed determined to commit suicide; waiting until the last possible second before running directly in front of our car. We were on a mountain road so swerving wasn’t an option.
