Massive article on the future of New Orleans in this morning’s Times-Picayune. It has some good insight into some of the local issues, and it also spotlights our ongoing concerns about free markets, local and federal government intervention, urban planning and more. I’m hoping to do a lot of reading on this stuff next year. No idea if it’ll lead to any good writing/ theorizing, but hey.
