Here’s a pic from today’s greyhound hike up in Wawayanda State Park:

  1. vc,

Stunning photos. I haven’t been to waywayanda since I was a kid. Now I know what I’ve been missing.

  2. Gil,

Get yerself a greyhound and join the Sunday hike! Or just visit any old time on your own. I posted some non-ice-storm sets from up there a little while ago: and here.

I don’t think I ever went up there as a kid, so it’s all new to me. I just gotta get Ru a warmer winter coat now that the weather’s turned. . .

  3. Vince,

Looks like a good place (judging from the photos in sunny weather) to drag my bike when the weather thaws. If Tony were still up here, we could take the Siberians … one of whom died last week. He’s taking it better than I thought he would. In any event, it’s something I should do with or without a dog. What a great place. And much overlooked in non-Thoreau-like existence.
