Unrequired Reading: May 25, 2007

Sorry it’s been such a light week of blogging, dear readers, but work was a bear. It’ll be wrapped up today, and then I can sail into the Memorial Day weekend (sans boat, but you get my drift).

Here are a bunch of things I would have written about:

The nexus of Ron Rosenbaum, country music, and cancer. (Roseann Cash gets an obligatory nod)

Now that’s creative destruction!

The nice/disheartening thing about the Internet is this: if you have an idea, you can be pretty sure that someone else has already written it down. So there’s no need for me to write a little essay about the poor choice of the word “czar” in the American government. (It would’ve come off as one of those “airplane food” observations anyway)

This trailer blew my head open. (One of my coworkers lent me a DVD of a show by the creator, called Paranoia Agent. Maybe I’ll check it out this weekend.)

* * *

One of the Design Observers has a book of essays (largely derived from posts he wrote on Design Observer)!

* * *

Milton Friedman causes E.coli? Does this mean the phone company killed Kennedy?

Have a great holiday weekend, everybody!
