At my day job, I occasionally get irate when a contributing writer concludes that “communication is key” to successful outsourcing. Then I read more about Boeing’s disastrously mismanaged 787 project, and I can only conclude that, yes, comnmunication is key, and no, you shouldn’t outsource project management.
