It’s been 20 years since Bo Jackson’s rookie season with the Royals. My key Bo baseball memories:
- that mammoth home-run in the All-Star game, and
- an inside-the-park home-run that he ran in like Olympic sprinter-time.

* watching that Seattle Seahawks game in some dorm with a couple of the guys from the football team and all of us silently standing up on that play where he accelerated past everyone
* watching him with the White Sox in ’92 maybe and realizing he was playing professional baseball even though he was crippled
