Waht do you think about the Hornets. I hope they hang around in N.O. What do you think about Brandon Bass’ chances in Dallas?
I know he will be a reserve, but I think he was doomed in New Orleans. Hopefully he will shine in Big D.

I say they HAVE to ditch those bright yellow unis, but I think they’ll be a 6-8 seed in the west, if they stay healthy. Then they’ll get swept in the first round, but make 2 of the games pretty close. I watched a couple of minutes of their home opener, but that was against a Kings team that only had 4 players available.
I’ve never seen Bass before, but I looked over his specs — 6’8″, 240 — and that would seem to make him the sort of banger that the Mavs need, if he can play decent defense. I’ll ask my NBA-co-writer Tom what he thinks!
